The Curse of Being Creative Hey guys!! This week I wanted to share with you what it's like being a creative individual and how that affects my life. These experiences include my temperament, consciousness, the workplace, relationships, personal development, protecting my creativity and how I choose to spend my time. These experiences may be exclusive to creative people and seen as a 'curse' but unless we learn to nurture out true gifts/temperaments as well as taking responsibility for our gifts we will feel a sense of overwhelming burden to express ourselves authentically. Our creativity is not something we 'do', it is who we are and so that affects every area of life, if you let yourself express who you are you will feel a true sense of identity. Affirmation : Love and self respect, is what freedom is all about! Letting go of trying, obsession and the fear of missing out! Being creative is our joy beyond measure! How do creative people come up with great ideas? Organizational psychologist Adam Grant studies "originals": thinkers who dream up new ideas and take action to put them into the world. In this talk, learn three unexpected habits of originals — including embracing failure. "The greatest originals are the ones who fail the most, because they're the ones who try the most," Grant says. "You need a lot of bad ideas in order to get a few good ones."
